GLAMIT Booking App
GLAMIT Booking App
Dual-sided beauty booking app with separate experiences for clients
and service business owners.
Role: Solo UX/UI
Platform: Mobile app
Duration: 8 weeks

Overview
GLAMIT connects two users with different needs: clients want to save time through an organized booking flow and efficient filters, while business owners need structure and control over their day. I designed separate experiences that share the same underlying rules availability, service details, and schedule logic so the system stays consistent across both sides. The result is a booking flow that reduces friction for clients and a management experience that supports real operational work for business owners.

GLAMIT Booking App

Dual-sided beauty booking app with separate experiences for clients and service business owners.
Role: Solo UX/UI
Platform: Mobile app
Duration: 8 weeks

The Problem
Last-minute booking creates friction for both sides: clients waste time searching for a near-term available appointment, while service providers struggle to fill openings created by late cancellations.
The Solution
I designed a solution that helps clients save time by surfacing the closest available appointments and enabling faster decisions through filters for location, price, availability, and rating. For service providers, I created a structured management experience with a clear calendar for tracking working hours and income, along with simple tools for schedule updates and changes.

I surveyed both clients and beauty business owners to validate the core pain points. Here are the key findings:

From Research to Solution
Every feature in GLAMIT was designed to answer a specific, validated user need.

What I Learned
Designing a dual, interface product taught me how complex it is to serve two completely different user types within a single app, each with their own needs, habits, and daily workflow. The research was what made the difference. I discovered that business owners’ biggest pain point wasn’t managing appointments, it was income lost to last, minute cancellations they had no efficient way to fill. That finding pushed me to design a dedicated solution for that specific pain point.
